graduated from College in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational
Management. His last year of college he made the Dean’s list and was Co-Captain of his
varsity soccer team and named NLCAA Athletic All American. After joining the Bath Police Department in 1990 David became a Police Physical Fitness instructor and used this certification to run the Bath Police Department’s applicant physical fitness testing process. David volunteer coached the Morse High School varsity boy’s soccer and club Lacrosse teams prior to being hired as the Assistant girl’s coach.

David’s other athletic experiences include numerous triathlons from sprint and Olympic distance up to a half-ironman, several 24 hour races including two trips to the “World’s Toughest Mudder” in New Jersey and a 24 hour mountain bike race in North Carolina. He has sectioned hiked most of Appalachian Trail in Maine and he has volunteered for the American Lung Association’s “Trek Across Maine” for over 20 years. David became a certified CrossFit Level 1 trainer in August of 2010. And a CrossFit level 2 coach in March of 2012 when he traveled to North Carolina for the CrossFit Coaches Prep course.

David has attended numerous specialty courses and has been a USAW certified Sports
Performance Coach and certified CrossFit Olympic lifting coach since 2013.
David has been training people at CrossFit since 2010. One of his favorite quotes is by Winnie the Pooh who said (paraphrased) You are stronger than you think and smarter than you know. David enjoys the looks on his clients faces when they do something they didn’t think was possible from their first 5k road run, a 1 rep max PR (personal record), the first time up the hill without stopping or an entire obstacle race.

I was born and raised right here in Bath Maine. I was a three sport athlete in high school and graduated with a degree in Physical Education from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine in May 2011. I started CrossFit in October of 2013 and received my CrossFit Level 1 certification in December of 2014. I’ve also coached middle school basketball and football in Bath since October of 2013. I enjoy coaching because it give me the opportunity to see athletes do things they didn’t think was possible

I live in Five Islands with my husband and daughter. I have always been active and enjoyed various sports. My Cross Fit adventure began when David introduced it to the gym. I enjoyed the lifting and WODs immediately. I received my Cross Fit Level 1 certification in December 2014 and began coaching. I love to see the smiles and the changes in our athletes, not just the physical changes, but the mental ones as well.
